BCBA - Board Certified Behavior Analyst
ABA clinic in Lake Charles is looking for a compassionate and skilled board-certified behavior analyst with a minimum of four years’ experience to join our team of health and wellness professionals. The BCBA will be responsible for assessing patients with a variety of behavioral and emotional disorders and creating individualized treatment plans. The BCBA should have patience and empathy to work with a population of clients that includes individuals with autism and other developmental disorders, brain injuries, emotional control issues and more. The ideal candidate should have exceptional communication and problem-solving skills and a record of effective behavior modification.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide ongoing support for learners; observe and assess behavior, and implementation of treatment plan
- Conduct training with families, teachers and/or doctors pertaining to patient’s treatment and progress
- Conduct functional behavior assessments
- Oversee assessments, plan development, and ongoing program data analysis to ensure maximum student potential and progress
- Develop and maintain individual treatment plans
- Develop and conduct staff trainings
- Maintain proper detailed documentation
- Using methods such as reinforcement and conditioning to correct or reduce aggressive, harmful and anti-social behaviors and to encourage positive behaviors
- Remain current on research and developments in behavior analysis
Starting salary range $60k - $71k (based on experience).

We are also seeking a BCaBA, with a minimum of two years’ experience. Hourly wage.
