Research Associate - Assay
Reports to and receives assignments, instructions and direction from the Assay Supervisor and/or Quality Control Manager. Must be able to work both as part of a team and alone. Will run various quantitative clinical chemistry and hemostasis lab tests such as electrophoresis, spectrophotometry and coagulation tests on pre-production raw materials, production in-process samples, and finished products. Performs testing utilizing standard/specialized equipment. Follow established protocols designed for testing. Performs various clean-up and housekeeping duties. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
Experience: Laboratory experience from a medical or biological lab setting preferred.
Education, Training and Skills: MT, MLT, Biology, or other lab-related science field preferred. Will consider a minimum of 2 years of college with experience working in a lab with knowledge of proper laboratory techniques.
Additional Information: Laboratory math skills would be a positive attribute for this position.
