At Lamar State College Orange (LSCO) our faculty creates hope and opportunities for tomorrow's educators, nurses, business leaders, and much more. The nursing programs provide classroom, simulated, and clinical instruction incorporating current teaching methodologies, technologies, and other trends that reflect advances in the healthcare industry.
LSCO is currently seeking four nursing faculty to join the faculty staff in either the Licensed Vocational Nursing (LVN) program or the Transition to Registered Nursing program (RN). Faculty are responsible for creating and delivering engaging classroom and lab instruction, supervising off-site clinical student experiences, and providing opportunities for students to succeed in meeting their educational hopes and dreams. An associate’s degree in nursing is required and a Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred for LVN instruction; a Master’s degree in nursing is required and a Doctorate degree in nursing is preferred for RN instruction.
These positions are security-sensitive and thereby subject to the provisions of the Texas Education Code §51.215, which authorizes Lamar State College Orange to obtain criminal history information.
Salary: Depends on Experience; State of Texas benefits + Retirement.
