Teacher For Young Adult with Autism

This is a Full-Time or Part-Time private employment opportunity in South Lake Charles starting as soon as possible. This position is Monday-Friday. Pay is based on experience and education with a range of up to $45 per hour.

Responsibilities include teaching basic subjects to a young adult with autism, teaching functional life skills, and assisting in school and community settings.

Requirements: Must be responsible, kind, and patient. Must be able to effectively teach basic subjects and skills. Must have excellent attendance, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation. Must be able to pass initial and random drug screens and pass a national background check

General education teachers, special education teachers, and college students are welcome to apply.
